Master's in Social Work

CSU Dominguez Hills

Currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at CSU Dominguez Hills, graduating in May 2025. The program emphasizes a critical race theory (CRT) approach, guiding my coursework and training. Through this education, I am developing social work skills at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels while completing specialized coursework to prepare for mental health licensure.

UC Irvine

Earned my Bachelor's degree from UC Irvine's School of Social Ecology, which emphasizes education, research, public policy, and community action. My studies provided a broad foundation in psychology while also exposing me to concepts in research, social justice, urban planning, criminology, and public health.

2015-2017

Social Sciences, AA

Ohlone College

Completed two years at community college with the goal of transferring to a university. Earned my Associate’s degree in social sciences, gaining a strong foundation through coursework in psychology, sociology, communication, political science, and anthropology.

Mental & Behavioral Health

One of my main career goals is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the ability to diagnose and treat mental disorders. Beyond that, I am passionate about educating others on mental health and working to reduce stigma surrounding it.
